Kiwi Banana Downunder

We went to StoneCutter’s Ridge a couple of weeks ago. It is whole new estate with golf course right in front of your house. The view of the golf course is spectacular of course but we couldn’t help worrying about getting broken windows.

Anyway, we checked out the display homes there of course. Well, what could I say, it is every golf enthusiast’s dream of living within a stone’s throw from the golf course. The display homes were decorated with modern furniture and such, they tend to make you want to get that home then and there.

I know my dad would love to live in that estate. If only I could convince him to move here.

Wow another neighbour is selling up. Properties exchange hand rather frequently in our neighbourhood I must say. Unfortunately I don’t foresee us doing that in the near future though we would very much love to get a chance to correct all our previous mistakes with regards to home building.

I am curious what the asking price may be for that particular home above. Guess it’s time to check the property website.

I had a lovely weekend, thanks to my darling wife and beautiful daughter. One of the things we did was to get some price lists at two display home villages just to see how much the prices have gone up since the time we built and wow things have increased!

We had a good time browsing leisurely at several houses admiring the modern furniture and interior décor. My wife particularly observed how feature walls are painted as she plans to unleash her artistic skills onto the walls of our home (good thing we have insurance, LOL).

We came home and looked at the price lists, home layouts, etc. Worked out the cost and spoke about what could’ve been *sigh*.
